Digital Illustrations
I wanted to create a series of themed illustrations to frame and display on my wall. Interested in old-school tattoo design, I decided to implement this motif. I started by creating a detailed rose, followed by a similarly formatted sugarskull illustration, as well as an anchor layout and a heart and dagger depiction. Each image began with internet research into what I wanted the design to look like. This was followed by an outline, the filling in of details, and then color choices, gradient shading, and textures for more visual interest. Finally, I introduced decorative accents to each piece. All in all, I am very pleased with the final illustrated collection.
